Dalmatian has done it! Exquisite Silver Gelatin archival Fiber Base prints from digital files are here. Dalmatian has always been known for its commitment to “The Fine B&W Print” and in partnership with Ilford and Durst, we can now offer our digital clients the quality and archivability of glossy Fiber paper from your digital files or scanned negatives, printed at 400 ppi. Digital Fiber prints bridge the gap between handcrafted archival darkroom prints with state-of-the-art technology of the digital realm. As with Traditional Fiber prints, Digital Fiber prints have a longevity of over 200 years. Digital Fiber prints are borderless unless otherwise requested.
NOTE: Ilford currently only produces the digital fiber paper in glossy surface. Hand tinting, while possible, is not recommended.
